Wilbur Anthony Padgett was born 7 November 1915 in Woodland, Meade County, Kentucky and he passed 5 September 1986 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Wilbur was the son of James Perry Padgett and Lula Frances Whelan Padgett.
He married Mary Lee Zweydoff on 23 August 1938 at Saint Cecilia Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Marly Lee Zweydoff Padgett was born on 23 August 1919 in Louisville, Kentucky and she passed away on 27 August 2011 in Radcliff, Hardin County, Kentucky.
Mary Lee was the daughter of Thomas Howard Zweydoff and Mary Clara Ringswald Zweydoff.
They had 11 children: Howard, James, Clara, Charles, Jean, Wilbur, Mary, Carolyn, Sylvia, Nancy, and Kenneth.
They had 30 grandchildren: Paula, Laura, Dale, Craig, Kelly, Christopher, Cynthia, Brenda, Jean, Mary, Barbara, Paige, Kevin, Robert, Nicole, James, Brian, Scott, Lorin, Joseph, Kathryn, Rachel, Joshua, Michaela, Angela, Kimberly, Sarah, Emily, Aaron, and Stacie.
Wilbur was the grandson of James Thomas Padgett, Mary Elizabeth McIntire Padgett, Daniel O'Connor Whelan, and Sarah Ellen Bryan Whelan. Mary Lee was the granddaughter of Leon William Zweydoff, Lillian Eugenia Folsom Zweydoff, Bernard Joseph Ringswald, and Mary Louisa Rolfes Ringswald.
They were very special people.
