Obituary
Mrs. Flossie B. Patrick, 81, died March 20, in her Betsy Layne home following an extended illness. Mrs. Patrick was born June 2, 1904 in Johnson County, the daughter of Jeff and Nancy Horne Burke. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Tom Patrick, preceded her in death September 25, 1968. Surviving are a step son, Tom Patrick, Jr., of Fostoria, OH and a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Richardson of Betsy Layne; a sister, Mrs. Gladys B. Preston of Frankfort; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 23, in Third Street Freewill Baptist Church in Paintsville with Rev. Cohen Campbell and Bob Lyons, officiating. Burial was in Patrick Cemetery at Denver with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, March 26, 1986
