Obituary
Clarence Scott, 91, died Saturday, August 9, in Oak Hill Hospital, Oak Hill, OH. Mr. Scott was born August 14, 1888 in Magoffin County, and was a resident of Leander. His wife, Ida Scott preceded him in death August 4, 1980. Surviving are four sons, Wayne Scott, Oak Hill, OH, Homer Scott, New Carlisle, OH, Bill Scott, Troy, OH, and Winfer Scott, Leander; a daughter, Mabel Saylor, Oak Hill, OH; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, August 11, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Herb Arms and Melvin Blanton officiating. Burial was in Scott Cemetery, Leander, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, August 13, 1980
