Obituary
Freddie Hitchcock, a 54 year old resident of Denver, died at his home on May 8, following an extended illness. Born July 7, 1920, he was the son of Eddie and Hannah Baldwin Hitchcock, who survive. Also surviving are his wife, Ella Faye Ratliff Hitchcock, three sons, Roger Dean Hitchcock of Cincinnati, OH, and Freddie Carroll and Mike Hitchcock, both of Denver, three daughters, Nancy, Peggy and Sue Hitchcock, all at home, a brother, Willie Hitchcock of Hager Hill, two sisters, Bethal Blair of Denver and Betty McCarty of Wabash, IN and one grandchild. Funeral services for Mr. Hitchcock were held Saturday, May 10, in the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver with Reverends Don Fraley and Bruce Spencer officiating. Burial was in the Ratliff Cemetery at Denver with arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
