Obituary
Lifes Vanhoose Jr., 62, of Hager Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 19, at his residence. Born Feb. 24, 1950, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Lifes and Dicie Ratliff Vanhoose. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Vanhoose and Charles Vanhoose. Survivors include his wife, Emma McCarty Vanhoose; two sons, Brian Vanhoose and Jason Vanhoose, both of Hager Hill; a brother, Dave Vanhoose of Hager Hill; a sister, Ethel Leona Blair of Hager Hill; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will be in Topsy Ratliff Cemetery, Denver, under direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville
