Obituary
Dewey Lester, 74, of Denver died Friday, September 7 after a brief illness. A retired gas foreman with Columbia Fuel Gas Company, he was born August 10, 1899, the son of the late Charlie and Della Hamilton Lester. Surviving is his wife, Inez Thacker Lester, a son Densel Lee Lester of Denver and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Rice of Paintsville. Lester was preceded in death by his first wife, Osa Blackburn Lester in December of 1960. Services were held at the home on Sunday, September 9 with Rev. C. C. Hall officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Denver with arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home
