Obituary
Hoy M. Preston, 81, died Thursday, June 3, 1999 in Friendvllle, Tennessee. Mr. Preston was born February 14,1918, in Johnson County, to the late N.M. and Rosa Daniels Preston. He was retired from Simmons-Mattress Factory He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Ratliff Preston, on December 1,1983. Surviving are one son, Joe D. Preston of Staffordsville; one daughter, Polly Hall of Friendville; one brother, John M. Preston of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 6, at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, with Donald Caudill officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Staffordsville, with Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
