Obituary
Alvis Conley, 75, died Tuesday, June 28, in his Hager Hill home. Mr. Conley was born March 3, 1913 in Johnson County, the son of Bascom and Maggie Blair Conley. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Kennard Conley; two daughters, Phyllis Jean Williams, and Sharon Kaye Blair, both of Hager Hill; and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 30, in Collista Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Harold Conley officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Hager Hill, with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
