Obituary
Mrs. Mae Picklesimer, 81, died Sunday, April 29, in the Paintsville Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Picklesimer was born February 22, 1896, in Johnson County, the daughter of John Walter and Marietta Rice Watkins. She was a resident of Denver and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Her husband, Maurice Picklesimer, preceded her in death in 1962. Surviving are a son, Dennis Picklesimer of Denver, a daughter, Mrs. Irene Adams of Paintsville, five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, May 2, in the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver with Reverends Michael A. Heacock and Herbert Arms officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Denver with Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, May 4, 1977
