Obituary
Elizabeth Hitchcock Blair, 84, died Tuesday, January 2, 1951 at the home of her son, Andy Blair at Denver after an illness of several months. She was born in Johnson County and was the daughter of Parker Hitchcock. She was a member of the United Baptist church. Her husband, James F. Blair preceeded her in death. Surviving are another son, Crate Blair, of Denver and a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Blair. One brother, Ben Hitchcock of Ivyton Ky., also survives. Funeral services were held today at 1:00 p.m. at the home of her son, Andy Blair, at Denver by Revs. Millard Bryant, Hammie May, Foster Rigsby and Prater Blair. Burial was made in the family cemetery at Denver by the Paintsville Funeral Home. January 4, 1951 Paintsville Herald
