Obituary
Eunie Blair, 77, died Tuesday, December 10 in a local hospital after an extended illness. A resident of Leander, she was born in Johnson County on October 24, 1891, the daughter of the late John Walter and Mary Rice Watkins. She was affiliated with the Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Blair of Leander, Mrs. Vencil Conley of Hillsboro, OH and Mrs. Floyd Long of Columbus, OH; nineteen grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mae Picklesimer of Denver. Services were held Friday, December 13 in the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver with Cline Salyer, Willard Wilcox and John G. Sammons the officiating ministers. Burial was in the Sam Blair Cemetery at Leander. The Jones and Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, December 18, 1968
