Obituary
Rev. Don Fraley officiated at services for Charles E. VanHoose, 21, on January 30. He died January 27 at Leander. A resident of Denver, Mr. VanHoose was born September 9, 1963 in Johnson County, the son of Lifes and Dicie Ratliff VanHoose. He was an employee of Davis Saw Mill. Also surviving are his wife; Doris Bowen VanHoose; two daughters, Chonda LaNell and Erica Dawn VanHoose at home; three brothers, Lifes, Jr, David and Ricky VanHoose all of Denver; and a sister Ethel Leona Blair of Denver. Services held in Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Ratliff Cemetery at Denver. Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
