Obituary
Jewel Trimble Green, wife of Ora Green, died in an Ashland hospital, last Wednesday, August 7, at the age of 60. Born March 26, 1914, Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Paris G. and Nannie Gullett Trimble and has resided in Ashland for the past 19 years. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a step-daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Rice of Flatwoods, a foster daughter, Mrs. Delena Jewel Blanton of Lucasville, OH, a step son, James Ernest Green of Columbus, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. June Gullett of Wilmington, DE. Funeral services for Mrs. Green were held Sunday, August 11, in the George’s Creek United Baptist Church with Elders Florida Lyons and Everett Slone officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Barnetts Creek with arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
