Obituary
Mrs. Cynthia Conley Dotson, 83, wife of Richard Dotson of Leander, Ky., died at her home Wednesday, March 16, following an illness of several months. Born December 6, 1872 in Floyd County, she was the daughter of James and Susan Music Conley. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving besides the husband are four sons, Martin Hackworth, Plymouth, Ohio, a son by a previous marriage, Edward Dotson, New Boston, Ohio, Glen Dotson, Nashville, Tennessee, Estill Dotson, Leander, Ky, three daughters; Mrs. Verna Blair, Leander, Mrs. B. Williams, Collista, Mrs. Dewey Hacksworth, Riceville. Other survivors include two brothers, Westley Conley, Bonanze, Ky., Bennie Conley, Stanford, Ky., two sisters Mrs. Mable Stone, West Portsmouth, Ohio and Mrs. Fannie Cottle, Slocum Station, Ohio. Funeral services were held Friday at the home with F.F. Rigsby and Millard O’Brayn as officiating ministers. Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
