Obituary
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb 12, for Robertta Ratliff, 66. Mrs. Ratliff was born Oct 28, 1921 in Johnson County, the daughter of Jay Cantrell and Alma Arms. Her husband, Elmer Ratliff, preceded her in death in 1971.Surviving are four sons, Herbert of Wabash, N, Robert, of Leander, Alvin of Seitz, and Anthony of Thelma; two daughters, Carol Perkins, of Wabash, and Alma Elizabeth McKenzie of Oil Springs; three brothers, Robert McCarty, Elijah B. McCarty and Elwood McCarty, all of Wabash; one sister, Joy Christine Rice of Dayton, OH; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Officiating at services in Liberty Baptist Church were Donald Ray Caudill and Dick VanHoose. Burial was in Rice Cemetery in Denver, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
