Obituary
Pauline Castle, 81, of Paintsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville. Born Jan. 22, 1926, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Elsie Colvin Hitchcock. She was a bus station waitress and a member of Thealka Freewill Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Caudill, and second husband, Van Buren Castle. Survivors include two sons, David Caudill of Franklin Park, Ill., and Larry Caudill of Georgetown; a daughter, Helen Bowles of Flat Gap; a sister, Lova Green of Pierceton, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 26, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville, with Hubert Slone officiating. Burial will be in Caudill Family Cemetery, Denver, under direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home. Big Sandy News Oct.2007
