Obituary
Fannie Mae Hackworth, 78, died Monday, February 12, in Highlands Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hackworth was born September 30, 1911 in Johnson County, the daughter of Richard and Cynthia Ellen Dotson. She was a member of Riceville Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Dewey Hackworth; three sons, Roger, Ronnie and John Hackworth, all of Riceville; six daughters, Gwendolyn Webb, of Oil Springs, Ohio, Bonnie Joe WIlliams, of Newport News, Virginia, Betty Lou Caudill, of Plymouth, Ohio, Avanell Fitzgerald, of Huber Heights, Ohio, Laura Ellen Salyer, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Christine Caudill, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 15, in Riceville Freewill Baptist Church, with David Castle and Herbert Arms officiating. Burial was in Caudill Cemetery at Riceville, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
