Obituary
Mrs. Rose Caudill, 78, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virgil Hackworth, Swamp branch at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, after an illness of eight years. The daughter of the late Benjamin and Emily May Rice, she was born at Riceville, February 12, 1884. She was a member of the United Baptist church. She is also survived by her husband, Frank Caudill, to whom she has been married for 57 years; four son; Roy, Riceville, Homer, Pierceton, IN, Bruce, Indianapolis, IN, Leonard, Swamp Branch; three other daughters, Mrs. Sherman Rice, Swamp Branch, Mrs. Claude Rice, Troy, OH, Mrs. Payne Picklesimer, Dayton, OH; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Hurt, Okanogan, WA, Mrs. Lester May, Wenatchee, WA, Mrs. Virgie Stone, Cleveland, OH; one brother, Harry Rice, Battle Creek, MI. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the Long Fork Untied Baptist church with O. I. Williams, Lonza Reed, and Tommie Bailey as officiating ministers. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
