Alene Aaron, 98, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was born May 27, 1916 in Jacksboro, TN. She was the daughter of the late O. L. & Flossie Donnelly Sharp.
Funeral service for Alene Aaron will be 10amCT, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 392 E KY 80, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jeff Eaton and Bro. Jeff Griffin officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pmCT, Friday, January 30, 2014, at the church and after 8amCT, Saturday until funeral time. Burial will be in the Russell Springs City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: Charles D. Hale, Anthony Hale, Charlie Aaron, Darren Jones, Ethan Hale, Austin Hale, Carson Rexroat. Honorary Pallbearers: Travis Hale, Dylan Hale

She was born Saturday, May 27, 1916 in Jacksboro, Campbell County, TN. She was the daughter of the late O. L. & Flossie Donnelly Sharp She died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 98 years, eight months, and one day.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Aaron, a grandson, Michael Hale, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include the following: •Two children: Charlene (Don) Hale; and Doug (Brenda) Aaron, all of Russell Springs, KY
•Five grandchildren: Charles Hale, Charla Aaron, Anthony Hale, Charlie Aaron, and Jo Beth Jones
•Six great grandchildren: Ethan Hale, Austin Hale, Travis Hale, Dylan Hale, Elizabeth Jones, and Connor Hale
•One sister: Ruby Owens, Louisville, KY
The family requests that memorials be made to the Gideons Memorial Bible Plan or the First Baptist Church Relay For Life Team. These can be made at the Bernard Funeral Home or the church.
