Obituary:
Allen Aaron, 71, Dies at Denmark
Russell County lost another find citizen Monday night at the death of Allen Aaron, 71, at his home in the Denmark community. He had been in ill health for some time, and while not unexpected, yet his passing was a great shock to the family and his many friends.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the home Rev. J. F. Black, with burial following in the Aaron Cemetery. John O. Sims, Dud Sims, Arthur Sims and Stephen Aaron acted as pallbearers. Pruitt funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Julia Aaron, three children, Mrs. Elva Coffey of Illinois, Shirley, and Harley Aaron, and two brothers, Edward Aaron and Henry Aaron.
Mr. Aaron had lived a long, useful, full, and honorable life and had won and held the esteem and respect of all who knew him. His passing is a blow not only to the immediate family but to the community and the county as a whole.
The members of the bereaved family have the wholehearted sympathy of all.
