Coy Coomer, age 77 years, of 840 Hwy 1952 the Chance Community passed away Wednesday Oct. 25, 2006 at 12:45 P.M. at his home after an illness.
He was the son of the late John Roy "Buck" & Exie Parrish Coomer.
Survived by his wife: Mary Magdalene Morrison Coomer of Columbia, Ky.
One daughter: Janice England & her husband Glyn of Columbia, Ky.
One son: Ricky Coomer & his wife Karron of Marrowbone, Ky.
Two brothers: G. A. Coomer & his wife Lola & Stanley "Butch" Coomer & Chris of Columbia, Ky.
One sister: Louise Murphy & her husband Jimmy of Chicago, IL.
2 Grandchildren: Michael Norris & Tammy Pruitt, 7 Step-Grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives.
Preceded in death by one son: Dennis Odell Coomer.
Preceded in death by two brothers & two sisters: Rollin Coomer, John Holland Coomer, Evelyn Vanheck & Sally Bennett.
He was a farmer & a Dozer Operator.
Funeral service Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 11:00 A. M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
