Obituary
Tom Centers, 90, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ida Staplet on of Meally, at 7:30 p.m., October 15, following an illness of one month.The son of John and Sarah Blair Centers, he was born October 16,1869,in this county and had resided at Meally for the past fouryears. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and engaged infarming prior to his retirement. Surviving are a son, Adron Centers, Meally; three daughters, MarieRatliff, Sitka; Della Fairchild, Barnetts Creek; Ida Stapleton, Meally; Lewis Centers, Albert Centers, and Jim Centers, all of Denver; Sam Centers, Paintsville; John Centers, Thealka. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m., from the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver with Scott Castle and Charlie Lemaster as officiating ministers. Burial was in the family cemetery
