Obituary
Daniel Boone Centers, 60, died Thursday, June 23 at his residence. Mr. Centers was born May 3, 1932 in Johnson County, the son of the late Lewis and Mary Jane Collins Centers. He was a construction worker and a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Dotson Centers; one brother, Den Centers of Hager Hill and four sisters, Neva Ratliff, Sophia Fairchild and Etheleen Little all of Hager Hill and Iris Ward of Florida. Funeral services were held Friday, June 26 in the Third Street Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Herb Music, and Herb Arms officiating. Burial was in Centers Family Cemetery at Hager Hill with Bryan Fraley & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, July 1, 1992
