Obituary
Farrell Hannah, 79, of Leander, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. Born Dec. 5, 1922, in Johnson County, a son of the late Proctor and Mahala Shell Hannah, he was a coal miner and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Blair Hannah of Leander; three daughters, Iva Lee Lemaster of Hager Hill, Brenda Sue Lewis of Paintsville and Linda Lou Cochran of Findley, Ohio; a brother, Fredrick Hannah of Leander; two sisters, Armina Vandale of Charleston, W.Va., and Irene Koski of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 20, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Hager Hill, with Revs. Donald Ray Caudill, Richard Williams, Larry Meadows and Powell Collins officiating. Burial will be in Hannah Cemetery, Leander, under direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home
