Obituary
Oscar Arms, 80, of Denver died Tuesday, November 28 in the Murphy Medical Center in Warsaw, IN following a brief illness. He was a retired miner and was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Jessie and Cynthia Blair Arms. Immediate survivors include his wife, Sarah Hitchcock Arms, four daughters, Ora Blair of East Point, Violia Blair of Flat Gap, Venice Arms of Warsaw, IN, and Veleria Brewer of Warsaw, IN, one brother, Oliver Arms of Urbana, OH, and four sisters, Mary Spradlin of Denver, Lydia Spradlin of Denver, Ruie Spradlin of Denver, and Martha Arms of Swamp Branch. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Scott Castle on Saturday, December 2 at 2 p.m. in the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver. Burial followed in the family cemetery at Denver under direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
