Obituary
Ervin 0'Bryan, 79, of Leander, died Saturday, January 3, 1998, at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born August 9,1918, in Leander, the son of Millard O'Bryan and Virgie May. He was a miner. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Opal O'Bryan. He is survived by six sons, Kenneth O'Bryan of Paintsville; Robert O'Bryan of Leander; Roger 0'Bryan, Randall O'Bryan, and Michael O'Bryan, all of Denver; and Rick 0'Bryan of Hager Hill; two daughters, Phyllis Ann Blevins of Leander, and Brenda Joyce Lewis of Paintsville; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hattie Blanton of Lucasville, Ohio; and Myrle Preston of Huntington, West Virginia. Services were January 6, at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Melvin Wright Frankie Williams, Danny William and Sammy Reed officiating. Burial was in the O'Bryan Family Cemetery in Leander. Paintsville Herald Jan 07 1998
