Obituary
Mrs. Rosa Lee O’Bryan, 79, died Sunday, July 13 in a local hospital after an illness of six weeks. Born at Leander on June 21, 1890, she was the daughter of the late John and Nervesta Yates Salyer and was affiliated with the United Baptist Church. Her husband, Harry O’Bryan preceded her in death in 1962. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Chlora Saylor and Mrs. Edna Salyer of Leander and Mrs. Bessie Spradlin of Orient, OH; a son, Wayne O’Bryan of Waverly, OH, eight grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; two brothers, Warnie Salyer of Leander and Charlie Salyer of Knox, IN, four half brothers, and six half sisters. Funeral services were conducted today, Wednesday, July 16 in the Beech Wall United Baptist Church at Leander with Elders Arnold Reed and Hammie May officiating. Interment followed in the May Cemetery at Leander. The Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, July 16, 1969
