Obituary
Samuel Hershell Patrick, 80, died Sunday, May 9, in the Mountain Manor Nursing Home at Prestonsburg. Mr. Patrick was born June 15, 1895 in Johnson County, and was a resident of Leander. He was employed in the trucking business and a member of the Protestant Church. Surviving are his wife, Mayme L. Combs Patrick; a son, Hershell Jackson of New Carlisle, OH; 2 daughters, Anna Louise Snyder of New Comers Town, OH and Eleanor Robinson of East Point; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 11, in the Jones- Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Moses Kitchen and Adam Marshall officiating. Burial was in family cemetery at Leander with Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, May 19, 1976
