1870 - June 24, 1948
Arminta Patrick, 77, widow of Samuel H. Patrick and well-loved member of the Leander community, died at her home at 6:30 P. M., Thursday, June 24. Mrs. Patrick injured her hip in a fall last February and had been an invalid since that time. She was the daughter of Payne and Malinda Rice Patrick, members of prominent families active in the development of this section. She is survived by one son, Herschell, Leander, one brother, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, by the Rev. Millard Van Hoose. Burial was in the family cemetery. PAINTSVILLE HERALD THURSDAY JULY 1, 1948
