Obituary
Frank Fairchild, 70, died Saturday, February 19, in the Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness. He was the son of Enoch and Samantha Johnson Fairchild and was born March 25, 1906 in Johnson County. Mr. Fairchild was a resident of Denver and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are a brother, Kennis Fairchild of Milford Center, OH; and two sisters, Mint Hannah of Staffordsville and Dora Goble of Denver. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 22, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Melvin Blanton and Donald Ray Caudill officiating. Burial was in the Ratliff Cemetery at Denver with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
