Obituary
Marie Brown, 78, died February 15 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born April 20, 1907 in Johnson County, the daughter of William and Nancy Rice Goble, and a resident of Leander. Her husband, Hershell Brown, preceded her in death September 7, 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Kay Mead of Boons Camp a sister, Effie Hackworth of Blue Creek, OH; and a granddaughter, Katrina Mead of Boons Camp. Funeral services held Tuesday, February 18, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Milam and Donald Yeager officiating. Burial was in Brown Cemetery at Leander. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, February 19, 1986
