Rites Sunday At Beechwall Mrs.Minnie Elizabeth may,81,died at the home of her son Patrick May,Route 2,Louisa,Friday morning May 24,after an extended illness. The daughter Ham and Jane LeMaster Spradlin she was born in Johnson County January 19 1882 and had lived at Leander most of her life.She had been at Louisa for the past two years and was a member of the United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband David Ballard May,December 1942. survivors incudes seven sons T.H.and McConnel May both of Leander;Theodore May,Wheelersburg Ohio;German May,Indiana;Hargus May Jackson,Michigan;Patrick May Louisa;Arnold Lee May,Berea, Ohio;seven daughters,Mrs.Virgie O'Bryan,of this city;Mrs.Myrtle Blair and Mrs.Dora Blair both of Leander;Mrs.Malta Blair,Denver;Mrs.Alka Nckels,Baltimore,Md.;Mrs.Oneida Crumit,Charlotte, N.c.;Mrs.Ruby O'Keefe,Indianapolis,Indiana;a brother,Challie Spradin,West van Lear. Also surviving are sixty-one grandchilden,one hurdred and six great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m.Sunday at the Beechwall United Baptist church at Leander with Prater Blair,James H.Blair,Lonza Reed and J.T.Baily are officiating minister. Burial was in the family cemetery at Asa Creek. Paintsville Hearld Wednesday May 22,1963 MAY
