Obituary
Michael Ray Ratliff, 42, of Denver, died Sunday, Nov. 11, at his residence. Born Feb. 24, 1965, in Elkhart, Ind., he was a son of Ray Ratliff of Denver and Virginia Hitchcock, also of Denver. He was a coal miner. Additional survivors include his wife, Donna Johnson Ratliff of Denver; step-mother, Rose Ratliff of Denver; maternal grandmother, Avonelle Hitchcock of Denver; two daughters, Jessica Ratliff and Rachael Cantrell, both of Denver; and two sisters, Linda Jo Trimble of Denver and Misty Hall of Floyd County. Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 16, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Jerry Colvin, Rutherford Blair, and Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial was in Sam Blair Cemetery, Denver, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home
