Obituary
Hollie Ratliff, 61, of Red Bush, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Morgan County A.R.H. Hospital, West Liberty. Born Feb. 4, 1953, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Topsy and Ruby VanHoose Ratliff. He was a coal miner. He was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Ratliff; and a daughter, Joann Ratliff. Survivors include his wife, Judy Ann Clark Ratliff; three sons, Joey Ratliff of Newtown, W.Va., Hollie Dwayne Ratliff of Blaine and Christopher Shawn Ratliff of Redbud, Ill.; a daughter, Larena Moore of Red Bush; a brother, Lawrence Ratliff of Tutor Key; a half-brother, Jay Ratliff of Indiana; three sisters, Ollie Southern and Martha Kidd, both of Denver, and Mary Pennington of Meally; two half-sisters, Ella Ratliff of Denver and Ruth Ann Fitch of Meally; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 30, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, with David Wolfenbarger, Perry Moore, and Keith Wells officiating. Burial was in Topsy Ratliff Cemetery, Denver, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home
