Obituary
Robert L, Ratliff, 48, of Leander, died Thursday, June 4 1998, Mr. Ratliff was born March 11 1950, in Johnson County, to the late Elmer and Roberta Cantrell Ratliff. He was a laborer for May Carpet Company. Surviving are his nephew and niece, John Pack and Jessica Auxier; three brothers, Herbert E. Ratliff of Paintsville, Alvin C. Ratliff of Salyersville and Anthony B. Ratliff of Lafontaine, Indiana; and two sisters, Carol Perkins of Wabash, Indiana, and Alma McKenzie of Leander. Services were June 7 at Liberty Baptist Church in Denver, with Donald Ray Caudill and Dick VanHoose officiating. Burial was in the Ratliff Family Cemetery at Denver, with Jones Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. NOTE: This cemetery is also known as "GEORGE W. RICE CEMETERY"
