Obituary
Moses Spradlin, 60, lifetime resident of Denver, Ky., succumbed Tuesday at a local hospital the victim of a heart attack, Mr. Spradlin, well known in the vicinity of the Johnson County and widely related in this section, engaged in farming and mining during his lifetime. He was a native of Denver and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Spradlin. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Spradlin, at home; Three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Arms of Amhersdale, WV, Mrs. Anna Kay Spradlin, both of Denver Ky.; and two brothers, Winfield Spradlin, of Barnetts Creek Ky., and Noah Spradlin, of Denver, Kentucky. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at the home at Denver with the Reverends Scott Castle and Charles LeMaster officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery nearby under the directions of the Preston Funeral Home.. PAINTSVILLE HERALD FEB.28 1952
