Obituary
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 11, at Riceville for Mrs Mollie Spradlin, 43, who died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Stockbridge, Michigan, Monday, March 8. Surviving are her parents, Bud and Norma Rowe Carpenter, Riceville, her husband, Evan Spradlin, two sons and four daughters. Other survivors include three brothers, Dudley Carpenter, Riceville, Karue Carpeenter, West Liberty, Ohio, Henry Carpenter, Riceville; one sister, Mrs Gladys Lee, Parkersburg, W. Va. Henry Tackett and Scott Castle officiated at the services. Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home
