Obituary
Noah Spradlin, 76, retired farmer of Denver, died in a local hospital Monday morning, November 11, after an extended illness. The son of the late Will and Rebecca Harmon Spradlin, he was born in this county August 4, 1887, and had been a lifelong resident of the Denver community. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cordie May Spradlin; two sons, James Oral Spradlin, Ivytop; William T. Spradlin, Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Wiley and Mrs. Geneva Lewis both of this city; Mrs. Loretta Black, Marion, Iowa; a brother, Winifred Spradlin, Denver. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 1:30 p.m., today, and burial was in the family cemetery at Denver.
