Obituary
Son of Amos & Plynia (Litteral) BlaElliott Blair, 86, resident of Barnetts Creek, died at his home at 10:30p.m. Monday, June 23, 1959, after an illness of several months. The son of Amos and Pauline Litteral Blair, he was born in this county July 8, 1872, and had been a lifelong resident of Barnetts Creek. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. He worked as a farmer prior to his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mertie May Blair; one son, Leroy Blair, Barnetts Creek; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Allie, Louisa. Funeral services were today at 1:00 p.m. from the Green Valley Schoolhouse with Scott Castle and Charlie Lemaster as officiating ministers. Burial was in the family cemetery.
