Obituary
Funeral services for Curtis Blair will be held today, Wednesday, May 6 at Little Paint United Baptist Church, Oil Springs. Mr. Blair died Sunday, May 3 at his home. Mr. Blair was born October 11, 1908 in Johnson County, the son of John and Rosa Colvin Blair. He was a retired maintenance man from Mayo State Vocational-Technical School. Surviving are this wife, Bethia Webb Blair; two sons, Curtis Blair, Jr., and Charlie blair, both of Barnetts Creek, three daughters, Loretta Blair of Hilliard, OH, Eunice Fairchild and Elizabeth Martin, both of Barnetts Creek; five brothers, Bayless Blair, of Ohio, Grady Blair of Paintsville, Granville Blair of Portsmouth, OH, Wayne Blair of Barnetts Creek, and Paul Blair of Dolin, OH; two sisters, Dorothy Webb of Barnetts Creek, and Maxie Lemaster of Salyersville; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Officiating at services will be Elders James H. Blair, Rutherford Blair and Danny Williams. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Barnetts Creek with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
