Obituary
A. J. Blair, 86, died June 29, at 3:20 a.m., in the Paintsville Clinic following an illness of 18 months. Born February 8, 1879 he was a son of Henry and Nancy Conley Blair, and had been a resident of Leander most of his life. He was affiliated with the United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa May Blair on July 4, 1958. Survivors include five sons Bruce Blair, Leander and Hebern Guy Gale and Ivan Blair all of Troy, Ohio. Other surviving include one brother Lindsey Blair, Beaver Ohio, one half brother, Harry B. Blair, Greenup and one half sister, Mary Fairchild, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted July 1, in the United Baptist Church, Leander, with the Revs. Millard O'Bryan Lonza Reed and William Harrison Blair officiating. Burial was in the May cemetery at Leander under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY JULY 7 1965
