Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 28, for James Harrison Blair, 64. Mr Blair was born October 15, 1925 in Johnson County, the son of Lis and Lucy Baldwin Blair. He was a retired miner/carpenter and a member of Jenny's Creek United Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife. Almeda May Blair; one son, James Harold Blair, of Denver; three daughters, Anna Prudence Cochran, of Denver, Velma Lou May, of Leander, and Marilyn Sue Collett, of Rey noldsburg, Ohio; two brothers, Burlin Blair, of Denver, and Dennis Blair, of Van Lear; two sisters, Arlene Castle and Fanny May, both of Paintsville; and eight grandchildren. Officiating at services in Jenny's Creek United Baptist Church were Elders Virgil Howard, Gene May, James Denny Spradlin and Danny Williams. Burial was in James H. Blair Cemetery at Denver, with Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
