Obituary
Cecil Blair, 92, of Nippa, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville. Born April 5, 1916, at Barnetts Creek, he was a son of the late Albert and Flora Ratliff Blair. He was a railroad brakeman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Scarberry Blair, in 2004. Survivors include a brother, Raymond Blair of Denver; and a sister, Dorothy Blair of Denver. Funeral services were Sunday, Sept. 7, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with James R. Blair, Douglas Ward and Jerry Colvin officiating. Burial was in Blair Family Cemetery, Denver, under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville. Big Sandy News Wednesday Sep.10 2008
