Obituary
Mintie Blair, daughter of Clarke and Martha McKenzie Pelphrey, was born June 18, 1887, and departed this life September 17, 1963. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Bessie Blair Spradlin, and her husband, Andy Blair. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bayless Baldwin, Collista, four grandchildren and 7 great grand- children, one brother, Willie Pelphrey, West Van Lear, one half brother, Frank Pelphrey, Nippa, 3 half sisters, Callie Say- lor, Gifford, Sally Adams, Ports- mouth, Ohio, Birtie Davis, Washington Courthouse, Ohio. Mrs. Blair lived most of her life in this community and has been a member of the United Baptist Church since age 17. She was a good woman and will be sadly missed by her family, neighbors, and friends. Beyond the gate your loved one Finds happiness and rest And there is comfort in the thought That a loving God knows best
