Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 12, for Mayme Blair, 75, who died Sunday, May 9 in Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Blair was born May 20, 1917 in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Paris and Nora Blair Fairchild. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Blair, in 1986. Surviving are one son, Drew Blair of Leander; three daughters, Rhetta Baldwin, Annetta Baldwin and Zuetta Scott, all of Leander; one sister, Elaine Brown of Leander; and 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Officiating at 11 a.m. services in Beechwall United Baptist Church will be Elders Jerry Colvin, Eugene May, James Spradlin and Danny Williams. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery at Leander, with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, May 12, 1993
