Obituary
George Blair, 71, resident of Denver, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday 1960 in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. The son of Britton and Lucinda Conley Blair, he was born in this county January 4 1889. He had resided at Denver most of his life where he engaged in farming and worked as a teamster. Surviving are three sisters, Sarah Spradlin of this city; Martha Ward, Carey, Ohio; Rhoda Ratliff, Barnett's Creek. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 Monday morning at Green Valley School House with Charlie Lemaster, Scott Castle, and Arthut Harmon as officiating ministers. Burial was in the Sam Blair Cemetery. Paintsville Herald Feb.24 1960
