Obituary
Mrs. Edna Goble Blair, 73, died Sunday, May 16, in the Paintsville Hospital. She was the daughter of William H. and Nancy Elizabeth Rice Goble. Mrs. Blair was born Sep 8, 1902, in Johnson County and was a life time resident of Leander. Surviving are her husband, Bruce Blair; two sons, Hubert of Sandusky, OH and Donald of Roanoke, VA; two daughters, Ina Spangler of Vinton, VA and Yvonne Pendleton of Roanoke; three sisters, Maymie Trimble of West Van Lear, Effie Hackworth of Blue Creek, OH and Marie Brown of Leander; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 18, in Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Arms officiating. Burial was in the Rivers Cemetery at Leander with Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, May 19, 1976
