Gail Eldon Blair, age 77 of Staffordsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born December 22, 1943 in Johnson County to the late Carl Blair and Ella Louise Horn Blair. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Fern May. He is survived by eight brothers: Francis (Phyllis) Blair of Barnetts Creek, Gerald Blair of Wakeman, Ohio, Phillip (Patsy) Blair of Hager Hill, John (Kathy) Blair of Barnetts Creek, Rick Blair of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Robie (Wanda) Blair of Hager Hill, Carl (Alicia) Blair Jr. of Asa Creek, Neal (Molly) Blair of Nippa; four sisters: Kathy (Lindsey) Meade of Flat Gap, Cheryl Johnson of Barnetts Creek, Jean Dawson of Hager Hill, Polly (Cecil) Adams of West Van Lear.Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Thursday, September 29, 2021 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Blair Family Cemetery at Staffordsville. Lindsey Meade will officiate. Friends may visit at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00pm, Wednesday from 9:00am-9:00pm, and on Thursday from 9:00am until time of services at 1:00pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
