Obituary
Dee Blair, 74, of Oil Springs, died Thursday, December 14 in the Paintsville Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired C & O railroad employee. He was the son of the late William S. and Sarah Ann Blair. Immediate survivors include his first wife, Esta Conley Blair, his second wife, Madge Blanton Blair, is deceased. Also surviving are two step sons, Harold Morris Conley of Dayton, OH, and Lindsay Francis Conley of Paintsville, four daughters, Mrs. Hester Bell Arms of Leander, Mrs. Violet Spradlin of Springfield, OH, Mrs. Ruth Harmon of Barnetts Creek, and Mrs. Martha Ann Harmon of Hager Hill, and two step daughters, Mrs. Mary Sue Adams of Lima, OH and Mrs. Louise Picklesimer of Ashland, two brothers, Dexter Blair of Leander and Estill Blair of Washington, Courthouse, OH, one half brother, Crate Blair, of Wheelersburg, OH, and two sisters, Connie Blair of Dola, OH and Mrs. Hester Picklesimer of Springfield, OH. Funeral services were conducted by Lonza Reed on Sunday, December 17 at 11 a.m. in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the family cemetery at Barnetts Creek under direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, December 20, 1972
