Obituary
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 21, 2 p.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Curtis Blair Jr., 79, of Staffordsville, Ky., who passed away Thursday, Sept. 18 at his residence. Mr. Blair was born Oct. 11, 1928 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the late Curtis and Bethia Webb Blair. He was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Lee Blair. He was employed by American Standard. Surviving are his wife, Nora Blair of Staffordsville; two daughters, Lois Fraley of Marysville, Ohio, and Sandara Blanton of Staffordsville; one brother, Charlie Blair of Staffordsville; three sisters, Eunice Fairchild and Elizabeth Martin, both of Staffordsville, and Loretta Blair of Hilliard, Ohio; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The service will be officiated by Jerry Colvin and James R. Blair, with burial following in the Blair Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, Ky. Arrangements under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home of Paintsville, Ky.
